Dog License 

Cost 

Dog licenses are due annually by June 30. 

For both renewals and new registrations, owners must provide a current rabies certificate and veterinary documentation if the dog is spayed or neutered.  This can be accomplished with the options listed below: 

Altered - $8.00 
Unaltered - $19.00 

 
$1.00 late fee Per Month or any part thereof 

IN PERSON:   Present in person to our office with the proper documents and pay by check/cash/or credit card and we will hand you your dog license and dog tag in person. 

Please note there are additional card fees when paying anytime using a credit/debit card. 

BY MAIL: 

Include a copy of the rabies and spay/neuter certificate along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and your renewal postcard or a new dog registration application.   

Mail all documents along with a check payable to Plymouth Town Clerk, 80 Main Street, Terryville, CT  06786.  We will process and return your dog license and dog tag by mail.

BY CREDIT CARD ONLINE:  Pending 

You can renew or register your dog online through Permitium by clicking on the link to the right.  Please fill out the online form and upload a copy of the rabies and spay/neuter certificate.  Pay with your credit/debit card and we will process and return your dog license and dog tag by mail.

LATE REGISTRATIONS: 

Any dog registered after June 30 will be charged a late fee of $1 per month
