DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday, November 22 from 10:30–11:30am at the Terryville Public Library for an engaging presentation by Darlene Kascak of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation. Learn about Connecticut’s history from an Indigenous perspective and gain a deeper understanding of how Native voices shape our shared story.   Presented by America250 – Plymouth, CT.   America250 – Plymouth, CT is a community initiative planning historical, cultural, and educational events to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Local programs honor Plymouth’s heritage while celebrating the nation’s founding ideals of freedom and unity.
