Public Notice – Road Rehabilitation Work

The Town of Plymouth Department of Public Works announces that roadway rehabilitation work will begin on sections of North Street starting Tuesday, June 30.

The contractor will perform roadway milling and full depth reclamation as part of the Town’s Road Improvement Program.  This work is the first phase of reconstructing the roadway prior to paving.

During construction, residents and motorists should expect:

• Periodic lane closures and traffic delays
• Alternating one-way traffic under flagger control.
• Construction equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
• Temporary driveway access interruptions while work is performed directly in front of individual properties.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through active work zones, follow all posted traffic control signs and allow additional travel time.

The Town appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as we continue investing in Plymouth’s transportation infrastructure.  If weather or unforeseen conditions require schedule changes, updated information will be provided.
