General Notice

Town Hall Administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 24^th and Thursday, December 25^th, in observance of the Christmas holiday, reopening on Friday, December 26, 2025. 

The Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday, December 24^th and Thursday, December 25^th, in observance of the Christmas holiday, reopening on Friday, December 26, 2025. 

Recycle and Trash pickup scheduled for Thursday, December 25, 2025, will be moved to Friday, December 26, 2025.

***Leaf and Brush Dump has CLOSED for the season as of Saturday, November 29^th.

***Lane Hill Rd Closure will begin Saturday, December 6^th.

Please be advised, the transfer station will be closing at 11:00 due to Inclement Weather, 12/2/2025

2025 MUNICIPAL CANDIDATE LOTTERY

Connecticut Fees for Recording

a Land Record Document and

Property Foreclosure Registrations

Effective July 1, 2025

Per Public Act #25-168

Recording Document: (excluding any document with a Nominee)

• $70 for first page $5 for each additional page

Recording Nominee Documents:

• $160 flat fee for Assignments and Releases of Mortgage where the nominee is the Grantor
• $160 for first page and $5 for each additional page for all documents except nominee as Grantor of Assignments and Releases

Please note that new fees must be paid for any document received by the Town Clerk on or after July 1, 2025.
